Meet The Artists

Hannah Adams

Hannah started dancing at the age of five at Center Stage Studios in Rupert Idaho. She went on to attend the Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education's pre-professional program where she studies nutrition, dance history, and various forms of dance. Her training included ballet, pointe, variations, pas de deux, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and more. She had the privilege of working under incredible choreographers such as Helen Pickett and John McFall. She also worked with premier patrons, was an assistant teacher, and worked as a stagehand in multiple productions. At the age of fifteen Hannah made her choreographic debut at the Georgia Tech Ferst Center. Hannah has been married to the love of her life and local pastor Andrew Adams since 2017. She graduated summa cum laude from The King's University and has worked in youth and young adult ministry for over a decade. She enjoys a wide range of artistic pursuits including playing piano, singing, drawing, painting, videography, photography, graphic design, and writing. Though, her favorite hobby is cleaning and decorating her home. She has previously taught at the Ballet Garden and Baird Ballet in Georgia. Hannah now enjoys teaching and sharing her love of dance with the next generation of artists at Ovation Dance here in Twin Falls.

Kiah Carpenter

Kiah Carpenter is an accomplished dancer and educator dedicated to fostering creativity and personal growth in her dancers. With a diverse background in Modern, Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and more, she holds a B.A. in Dance with a focus on Pedagogy and Composition from Columbia College Chicago and is a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor. From 2013 to 2016, Kiah taught at Xavier Charter School and coached numerous award-winning dancers. Her choreography has been featured on HBO's We're Here, and she has directed productions for Magic Valley Repertory Theatre and Magic Valley Little Theater, with notable credits including Chicago and Cabaret. Since 2015, Kiah has been the Director of Ovation Dance Studio and has served as the Artistic Director of Inspirata Dance Project since 2024. She is excited to continue in following IDP's mission of creating an inclusive environment that empowers dancers to explore their creativity, emphasizing discipline, teamwork, and confidence. She hopes to that every dancer feels valued and inspired to develop their unique artistic voice.

Brooke Ciocca

Brooke Ciocca's passion for dance began at a young age, growing up at Uptown Dance Studio, which her mother Trina Ciocca founded. Brooke started assisting with classes at 9 and earned her Dance Teacher Certification Levels 1 and 2 through Dance Teacher Web and the University of Las Vegas by age 18. She went on to study dance at the College of Southern Idaho and the University of Idaho, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dance. Throughout her education, Brooke trained with renowned instructors in multiple styles including jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, and acrobatics, performed with various companies, and completed certifications in Pilates and yoga. Now back in Wendell, Idaho, Brooke serves as Assistant Director of Uptown Dance Studio and head coach of the Uptown Performance Troupe Competitive Dance Team. She's dedicated to teaching safe dance practices and sharing her love of dance with the community. Brooke is also a kindergarten teacher and has completed her Master's in Education. She continues to perform professionally with Inspirata Dance Project and is excited to inspire dancers in the Magic Valley area.

Hailee Deelstra

Hailee Deelstra began dancing at a young age and knew early on it would be a lifelong passion. She trained primarily at a small studio in Jerome, Idaho. Under the direction of Shari Mauldin and various other instructors, Hailee studied a variety of dance styles and competed for a decade. She pursued degrees in dance and dental hygiene at the College of Southern Idaho, performing with the CSI Golden Girls for three years, two as captain. After completing her degrees, she practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Twin Falls for five years. Hailee joined Inspirata Dance Project (IDP) as an understudy in its inaugural year and became an official member in the second. She danced with IDP until 2019, then took a nearly three-year hiatus to focus on her family. Thrilled to rejoin IDP, she now balances dancing with being a stay-at-home mom, caring for her two children and her giant orange cat, nurturing numerous house plants, and supporting her family’s organic dairy business.

Alyssa Durrand

Alyssa Durand began her dance journey at age 4 when she told her parents, "I want to dance on my toes!" They enrolled her in ballet lessons at Sun Valley Ballet in Ketchum, Idaho, where she trained until she was 13. After switching schools, Alyssa continued her dance education at Footlight Dance Centre, where she stayed for two years. In 2020, she launched her own dance program, On My Toes, teaching ballet, contemporary, and musical theater to students aged 3-16. In 2023, Alyssa joined Ovation Dance in Twin Falls, where she danced until her graduation in May 2024. Now, with Inspirata, she is excited to continue moving and create and connect with a new dance family. A fun fact about Alyssa: she bakes on the weekends and works as a barista during the week. She also has a ferret named Castiel, who brings a lot of joy to her life!

Tanisha Jones

Tanisha grew up in Jerome and participated in studio dance at Julie’s Jazzworks from an early age until she was 9. She started dancing again as a sophomore when her high school got a dance team. She competed at local competitions and even state for 3 years. After high school she danced in college for the CSI Golden Girls for 2 years while earning her degree. She took all the dance classes offered to experience new styles of dance. She danced with IDP for a year, but then was interrupted by the pandemic. She is looking forward to being back with IDP and to continue dancing and creating again. Outside of the studio, Tanisha can be found at the pickleball courts with her husband. She enjoys the outdoors and loves ATV riding, kayaking, and camping. She is working as a Physical Therapist Assistant and enjoys what she does. She also loves spending time with her family playing games and watching movies while cuddling her dog.

Cassie Mavencamp

Cassie Mavencamp is a Pennsylvania native where she nurtured her love of performance with Faberge Follies Dance and Tumble alongside her sisters. Her favorite styles are tap, jazz, and acrobatics, but she is also well versed in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop and Polynesian dance. She has been dancing since the age of 4 and always manages to find a dance community wherever she is. Cassie was a member of Drexel University’s varsity dance team and performing arts ensemble in Philadelphia before transferring to Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. She has a B.S. in Biology (Organismal Ecology) concentrating in plant ecology and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design. Cassie moved west to Idaho to work for the Bureau of Land Management where she has remained for the last 19 years raising a family with her husband and continuing to cultivate her abundance of hobbies including gardening, outdoor adventuring, crafting, and especially dance.

Andrea McCarty

Andrea is excited to be dancing again after a nineteen-year pause. She started in gymnastics at ten years old, then took jazz, ballet, and pointe dance classes in high school at Paunie’s School of Dance in Blackfoot, ID throughout her high school years. While in college studying for her bachelor’s degree in elementary Education, she was a part of Danson, Idaho State University’s modern dance team from 2001-2005. This is Andrea’s eighteenth year teaching second grade at Wendell Elementary. She earned her Masters of Elementary Education degree in 2017. Currently, she is working on her EL endorsement. She also enjoys playing the flute and spending time with her family, her husband DJ, who teaches music at Wendell Middle and High School, their two boys, Jonah (15) and Jorel (11), and their dog, Dusk. She is so thankful to be dancing again and a member of Inspirata Dance Company. This is something she has been missing for a while and is excited to find her way back to dance.

Ausha Messman

Ausha Messman fell in love with dance at an early age. They grew up dancing in Twin Falls with Kelli Mauldin. Over the years, they received training with other instructors, including IDP's founder, Cindy Jones where they studied ballet, modern, contemporary, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Messman treasures their time spent with their daughter, and crafting.

Amy Moore

Amy Moore began dancing at a young age and has continued to keep it as a part of her life. She trained primarily at a small studio in Wendell, Idaho as well as being part of high school cheer and dance teams. Amy continued her exploration of dance while attending the University of Idaho. Her favorite memories are her roles in the annual Dancers Drummers and Dreamers Show where dancers and musicians collaborated in making pieces set to live music. Amy is an avid traveller and was able continue her dance exploration while attending the University of Brighton in England. She was part of the school's competitive cheer team as well as the jazz and pom dance teams. After graduating college and starting her career as a high school math teacher, Amy has tried to take advantage of any dance opportunity she can find. This included random fitness classes at her childhood study to Just Dance with her nieces. Amy became a member of Inspirata Dance Project in the fall of 2024. She is excited to have a new opportunity to jump back into learning and expanding her love of dance.

Ally Mora-Novak

Ally was born in Twin Falls and grew up in the dance studio. She was known to always be at dance and loving every bit of it. She started dancing at the age of two and has been dancing ever since. Going off to college she became a member of the CSI Golden Girls for three years and was the captain for two of those years. She has danced professionally with the Inspirata Dance Project and received her AA in Dance and Social Work. She is as a dance instructor at Ovation Dance studio in Twin Falls.

Jenny Tucker

My name is Jenny Tucker, I was born and raised in California and started dancing at the age of 3. I danced competitively for 5 years. Over the years I have performed for a few different charity events and my love of dance has continued to grow. I am married to my husband Shawn and we have two wonderful children together. We relocated to Idaho a few years ago and are so happy this is where our kids get to grow up.

Kristian Turner

Kristian Turner was bit by the 'dance bug' at the age of 9 and started her exciting dance journey under the direction of Julie Wright-Leggett (Julie's Jazzworks), where she studied numerous styles of dance, including lyrical/contemporary, ballet, pointe, modern, hip hop, jazz, funk, clogging, and tap. Dance is her longtime passion, as she has been dancing/performing for almost 30 years and instructing for 20+ years. While attending CSI in Twin Falls, she was a member and captain of the Golden Girls Dance Team. She also trained in Aerial Dance at CSI under Cindy Jones. Kristian has had the privilege of performing in various stage productions, including The Nutcracker with Eugene Ballet Company, many musical productions with Magic Valley Repertoire Theatre, and has been a member of Inspirata since 2017. She looks forward to continuing her journey as a member/collaborator of Inspirata Dance Project. Kristian serves as a lead instructor & the Ambassador Program Manager at Ovation Dance studio in Twin Falls. When she isn’t in the studio, you can find her working in the school setting as a teacher's aide. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two kids, and their small "zoo" of cats, dogs, and assorted plant life.
