The IDP Emerging Artist Scholarship

About the Scholarship
Inspirata Dance Project is committed to supporting the next generation of dancers in Idaho. Through the IDP Emerging Artist Scholarship, we aim to uplift young artists who show passion, dedication, and a love for dance. This scholarship helps provide financial assistance for dancers ages 10–18 currently enrolled in dance programs in Idaho.
Eligibility
Applicants must:

Be 10–18 years old
-
Live in Blaine, Camas, Cassia, Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln, Minidoka, or Twin Falls counties
-
Be currently enrolled in a dance program or studio

Submit a written essay (see prompt below)
This scholarship is open to dancers of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Application Requirements
1. Essay

Submit a 1–2 page essay responding to the following prompt:
“Reflect on how dance has influenced your personal growth, describe a moment when dance made a significant difference in your life, and share how you hope to use dance to make a positive impact on others.”​​
Typed, double-spaced, PDF preferred

Deadline & Award Timeline
Applications will remain open until available scholarship funds are fully awarded.
Award Announcements: Recipients will be announced publicly at a later date (to be determined). Applicants will be contacted individually via email. Funds must be allocated directly to the dance studio the dancer attends.
