Auditions
Q: How can I audition for the company?
A: Our company holds auditions annually for placement in our current works. For those wishing to be considered for the current season, please ensure that your audition submissions are received by the deadline listed on our audition page. While we will accept auditions year-round, please note that late submissions cannot guarantee placement in our company ensemble for the current works. Dancers must be 18 or older to join the company. Dates and more information to be announced on our audition page.
Q: What should I prepare for the audition?
A: All auditionees will be required to submit the following:

-
An audition form provided through our site
-
A video audition consisting of:
-
A 1-minute solo (in Contemporary, Jazz, or Ballet)
-
A video of you performing the combination we provide
-
If selected for a callback, the auditionee will attend an in-person class with the company and have a short interview. Be prepared to discuss your background and experiences in dance.

By auditioning, dancers agree to attend rehearsals consistently. Excessive absences or missed rehearsals may result in being removed from sections of choreography or, in some cases, from the final performance.
Q: Is there anything else I need to know about auditions?

A: We want to emphasize that while technical proficiency is important, we are also looking for dancers who excel in collaboration and demonstrate a positive attitude in group settings. Our company values creativity, teamwork, and the ability to work well with others. During the audition process, we will be observing not only your individual skills but also how you engage and contribute within a collaborative environment. Be prepared to discuss your background and experiences in dance, as well as your approach to working with others.
Schedule & Rehearsals
Q: What is the training schedule like?
Our season runs through our annual show, which is typically held in October–November. Rehearsals begin in the fall and are usually held on Saturdays from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Exact dates and times may vary depending on the season’s schedule and choreographers’ availability, and any changes will be communicated promptly to dancers.
Rehearsals begin with a warmup and technique class before moving into choreography and creative exploration. At least twice a month, class is dedicated to technical training.
